Raspberry Road Designs: Digital Scrapbooking Kits, Papers & Freebies

Raspberry Road Designs is a digital scrapbooking design studio that has been creating papers, elements, quick pages, alphas, word art and full collections since 2007. Every product is made to help you turn everyday photos into pages you will want to keep: soft vintage colors, shabby and rustic textures, country charm and seasonal themes you can mix and match from one collection to the next.

All of our products are digital downloads. Nothing is shipped to you – you download the files and use them in your favorite photo editing program, or print them at home and scrap the traditional way. Our papers are created at 300 dpi, so they look crisp on screen and print cleanly at full 12 x 12 inch size.

What you will find on Raspberry Road

Digital scrapbooking supplies in the Shoppe

The Raspberry Road Shoppe is organized the way most scrappers build a page: start with a background, layer elements on top, add a title and finish with journaling. Here is how the main categories fit together.

Papers

Digital scrapbook papers are the foundation of every layout. You will find solids, patterns, textured cardstock, stacked and decorated papers that coordinate with each collection, so finding a matching background is easy.

Elements and clusters

Digital scrapbook elements are the embellishments: flowers, ribbons, buttons, tags, frames, doodles and more, supplied as separate pieces you can move, resize and shadow. If you want a head start, our clusters are groups of elements that are already arranged and ready to tuck behind a photo.

Quick pages

Quick pages are finished layouts with open photo spots. Drop in your pictures, add a little journaling and the page is done – perfect for busy weeks, photo books and new scrappers.

Alphas and word art

Digital alphas are complete letter and number sets for titles that match your kit, and word art adds ready-made titles, quotes and sentiments when you are stuck for words.

Mini kits, holidays and hybrid projects

Mini kits bundle a smaller set of papers and elements around a single theme. The Holidays category gathers Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Valentine's Day and other seasonal designs in one place, and the Hybrid and Printables categories are made for projects you print, cut and assemble by hand.

Freebies, Dollar Store and commercial use

New to Raspberry Road? Start with the free digital scrapbooking downloads and the budget-friendly Dollar Store. Designers who build their own products will find commercial use resources and brushes and stamps, each with its own terms of use.

How to use a digital scrapbook kit

  1. Download and unzip the files to a folder on your computer.
  2. Open a background paper in a program that supports layers, such as Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, Affinity Photo, GIMP or a similar editor.
  3. Add your photos and clip them to a frame or photo mask if you like.
  4. Layer elements such as flowers, ribbons and tags around the photos, adding a soft drop shadow so they look real.
  5. Add a title with an alpha or word art, then a few lines of journaling to tell the story behind the pictures.
  6. Save and share or print your finished page, or collect your pages into a printed photo book.

Prefer paper and glue? Print the papers and elements on good quality paper and cut them out – this is called hybrid scrapbooking, and it works beautifully for cards, tags, mini albums and party decorations.

The story behind the name

Raspberry Road is named after a little country road where wild raspberries grew along the fence rows. Picking those berries with family – and never managing to carry any home – is one of the memories that inspired the studio. That love of simple, sweet, handmade moments is still at the heart of every collection. You can read the full story on the About Raspberry Road page.

Frequently asked questions

What is digital scrapbooking?

Digital scrapbooking is scrapbooking on a computer or tablet. Instead of paper, scissors and glue you use digital papers, elements and alphas, arranging them in layers in a photo editing program to build a page around your photos.

Do I need special software?

You need a program that works with layers and transparent PNG files. Photoshop Elements and Photoshop are popular choices, and free editors such as GIMP work well too. Quick pages are the easiest place to start because the design is already done.

Can I print my digital scrapbook pages?

Yes. The papers are made at 300 dpi, which is the usual resolution for good quality prints, so you can print finished pages at home, at a photo lab or in a photo book.

Is anything shipped to me?

No. All Raspberry Road Designs products are digital downloads. Nothing is mailed, so there is no shipping to wait for.
